The course is delivered in a combination combination of live teleconferencing, online media, and personal tutoring by a master coach. You build competence and confidence with 60 hours of instruction, practice and mentoring, from the comfort of your own home or office. The course elements include:

Part 1: Personal Development – Using emotional intelligence to liberate authentic leadership of self and others

Develop your own emotional intelligence with this step-by-step, 16-module multi-media component. Develop skill in emotional awareness, emotional decision-making, empathy and understanding, transparent communications, authentic influence and more. Weekly audio lessons with workbooks and exercises enable you to quickly understand and develop emotional skill while learning at a time and place convenient to you. The EI concepts are then reviewed and practiced in the coaching lab to build skill.

Part 2: Professional Development TELE-WORKSHOPS – Using the The EQ At Work Method to develop others

You will learn the principles and practices of facilitating the development of EI in individuals and groups in 18 weekly teleconference workshops. Learn how to develop extraordinary trust and rapport, create clarity, use the 9-step session flow, ask the right questions at the right time with the ART model, develop emotional literacy, evoke emotional experience create supportive practices and everything you need to be an extraordinary EQ coach.

With our conference system we duplicate live workshop experience with breakout groups to experience one-on-one and small group coaching. Teleconference workshops and coaching labs are conducted sequentially on the same day each week for a total of 1.5 hours of telephone class time.

Part 4: Mentor Coaching – Get feedback and support for personal and profesional development in 8 private sessions with a master EQ Coach

As part of your learning you will coach at least one paying external or internal “client” through the 16-step weekly process of liberating authentic leadership with emotional intelligence.
