Leading Emotional Intelligence - The Program
Course Delivery
This course is conducted jointly with the EQ Coach Certification Program , sharing most elements of that program PLUS private Leadership EQ Coaching.
The course is delivered in a combination combination of live teleconferencing, online media, and personal tutoring by master coaches. You build competence and confidence with 60 hours of instruction, practice and mentoring, from the comfort of your own home or office. The course elements include:
Part 1: Personal Development – Using emotional intelligence to liberate authentic leadership
- Multi-Media Course: Develop your own emotional intelligence with this step-by-step, 16-module multi-media component. Recorded lessons with workbooks and exercises enable you to quickly understand and develop emotional skill while learning at a time and place convenient to you. The EI concepts are then reviewed and practiced in the coaching lab to build skill.
- Private Coaching: Twelve one-on-one telephone coaching sessions help you apply emotional intelligence to the development and practice of authentic leadership.
Part 2: Professional Development Tele-Workshops – Using the The EQ At Work Method to develop others
You will learn the principles and practices of facilitating the development of EI in individuals and groups in 10, 1.5-hour teleconference workshops. Need to miss a session? No problem. Recordings of all workshops sessions are available to you in your virtual classroom 24/7.
Part 3: Professional Development Coaching Lab – Building competence and Confidence
Learn, practice and demonstrate emotional intelligence coaching and facilitation by watching, listening and doing as you coach and are coached in 10, 1.5-hour teleconference workshops.. Mentor coaching by Master EQ Coach Joseph Liberti provides feedback for improvement. Recordings of all coaching sessions are available to you in your virtual classroom 24/7. LEADERS: Learn to masterfully facilitate team meetings and influence outcomes.
* With our conference system we duplicate live workshop experience with breakout groups to experience one-on-one and small group coaching. You get plenty of practice and feedback to develop competence and confidence quickly.
Part 4: Application – Increase your competence and confidence while you support internal clients to increase effectiveness.
As part of your learning you will coach at least one internal “client” through the 16-step weekly process of liberating authentic leadership with emotional intelligence. The structured process enables you to be effective right from the start and the mentor coaching your receive in the coaching lab affirms what is working and gives you feedback to improve clients results.

- Certification Option: Participants in this course may elect to also participate in the coach certification process and receive the same testing, and mentor coaching that certification candidates receive for an additional $350 tuition.
